Meaningful membership from Turkish academician

Prof. Dr. Ayşe Zehra Aroğuz, a Faculty Member in Istanbul University (İÜ) Engineering Faculty Chemistry Department, represented Turkey by being elected as the first science woman council member in the 10thcouncil meeting of Federation of Asian Polymer Societies (IUPAC-FAPS) held in Jeju island of the South Korea. 

Federation of Asian Polymer Societies (IUPAC-FAPS), founded in 2007, is comprised of 15 member states.  Goals of Federation of Asian Polymer Societies are listed as to conduct scientific activities for progress and development of polymer science, and to encourage cooperation between specialized scientists conducting scientific works and researches on polymer.
